Home Visits

We understand it can be difficult to attend the clinic with your pets at times, so we have a home visit service backed up by our clinic facilities.

A home visit is not as comprehensive as the visit to the practice simply because we do not have all the clinic facilities available. Most consults and vaccinations can be performed along with simple procedures such as blood sampling.

Home visit slots cannot be booked in the online booking diary, you will need to call us or email in to request a slot. We will give you a 30 minute slot of expected arrival time and will keep you updated if anything changes. The home visit fee is charged once for the call-out, so you can have multiple consults/vaccinations for pets in the house at the same visit. The home visit fee is still charged if we arrive and your pet is not available to be seen.

Cats

We ask that you have cats ready in a small room with the door shut before we arrive. Try to keep them in the house a few hours before the expected visit.

Dogs

Some dogs behave differently when new people come to your home. We therefore ask that you have your dog on a lead when we arrive and keep any other dogs out of the room. We would also appreciate a warning of any past behavioural issues in advance. We are happy to discuss any individual concerns and plans at the time of booking.
